Important Information for ISRO – Young Scientist Program for 10th Standard Students

• Only Students who passed 9th standard and are waiting to join 10th Standard in the next academic year (2019-20) can apply.
• Any student from any school can apply and shortlisted students will get a chance to visit.
• 3 Students from each state/union territory will be shortlisted.
• Duration of Program: Two weeks during summer (Mid of May)
• All expenses will be borne by ISRO
• Last date to Apply: 3 April 2019, 6:00 PM.
• Announcement of provisionally selected candidates from each state: 06 April 2019.
• Final selection: 13 April 2019.

What does the ISRO – Young Scientist Program for 10th Standard Students contains:

• The Program is primarily aimed at imparting basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger ones with the intent of arousing their interest in the emerging areas of Space activities.
• The program is thus aimed at creating awareness amongst the youngsters who are the future building blocks of our Nation.
• This will further help them to appreciate what they are being taught in the school and its real application in Space Science & Technology.
• ISRO has chalked out this programme to “Catch them young”.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are no hidden fees to apply for this opening. Any candidate who is eligible can directly apply.
