Eligibility Criteria :
Education: Enrolled in BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Software Engineering related discipline
Job Location: Work From Home
Experience: Intern/Student
Skills: Python, Golang, and Java scripts
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop Proof of Concept (POC) for cloud software services
- Write unit tests and validation automation tests for cloud software services
- Develop reference cloud platform software
- Improve or enable customer designs to obtain the best value from Intel products within the cloud
Mandatory skills for Cloud Software Engineering Intern at Intel:
- Excellent written/verbal English communication and presentation skills
- Strong software engineering skills
- Enthusiasm for innovation and creative problem solving
- Proficiency with one or more: Python, Golang, and Java scripts
- Proficiency in Linux or Windows Operating system
- Familiarities with cloud-native computing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Containers, Microservices, and Red Hat OpenShift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Machine Learning background with Tensorflow
- Familiarities with RestFul interfaces using flask or python
- Knowledge of Jupyter Hub, Notebooks, Github, etc.
- Designing and operating distributed systems, networking design, and implementation experience
- Familiarities with databases like Mongo, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB
- Familiarities with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps concepts
- Proficiency in developing modern AI and graphics workloads
- Familiarities in programming languages: Python, Go, Java
- Knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks (ex: TensorFlow, PyTorch) and models and is familiar with the deployment of DL-based use cases
Working Model
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business needs. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
