Responsibilities:

• Framework Development: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain the distributed object storage framework. This includes the graphical user interface (GUI), REST interface, and distributed task orchestration engine.
• API Design: Establish and maintain well-documented APIs that facilitate seamless configuration, monitoring, and management of distributed storage nodes.
• Persistence Layer: Implement and maintain a robust and efficient persistent model for storing configuration and monitoring data within the object storage system.
• Distributed Task Orchestration: Design and optimize the task orchestration engine to effectively manage tasks across distributed nodes, ensuring both fault tolerance and top-notch
• Node Provisioning and Monitoring: Create logic for provisioning and monitoring all nodes in the distributed setup, assuring high availability and scalability.
• Quality Assurance: Develop unit tests, conduct code reviews, and contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks to guarantee the framework’s stability and
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for the framework, encompassing API documentation, user guides, and developer resources.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to comprehend system requirements, gather feedback, and propel continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills for Software Engineer Job Opening at Quantum:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, C++, Java, OCaml, or a willingness to learn additional languages.
