Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fields
Job Location: Pune
Experience: Freshers
Skills: SQL, Linux, at least one Programming / Scripting Language
Duration: 6 Months (starting January, 2024)
Skills preferred for a Intern Engineering Job Openings at Qualys:
- Operating System and File system internal concepts, with proficiency of at least 1 OS.
- Basic of Files and Databases, Practical knowledge of SQL, DDL and DML, with proficiency
- Basics of Networking concepts, Networking devices and Cloud Operating Systems
- Strong Data structures and Algorithms concepts
- Knowledge of OOAD / Design Patterns will be an added advantage
- Principles of Programming Language and at least one Programming / Scripting Language
- System / DB Administration knowledge with scripting experience on Linux
- Logical thinking and Analytical skills for problem solving/ debugging
- Capable of thinking multiple scenarios and weigh them to justify order of preference
- Understanding of System Design by playing with a black box system
- Concepts of Software Engineering and Agile / Project Management
Requirements:
- Clear communication: Comprehension of English, Articulation in English and Effective Communication
- Positive perspective, team player, smart working and go getter attitude
- Willing to self-study and learn quickly. Ready to take up challenge and win it
- Minimum 6 months of internship starting January, 2024
The responsibilities include:
- Develop highly scalable applications on Cloud
- Demonstrates skill in time management and completing projects in a cooperative team environment
- Quickly learns new methods and incorporates them into his or her work processes.
