Salary : Upto 6LPA - 8LPA (As per the Glassdoor)

Responsibilities for the Assoc Software Engineer Job Opening at Goldman Sachs:

  • Collaborate closely with internal/external clients, vendor teams, and trading desks to support onboarding
  • Gather and evaluate client requirements, manage throughput and capacity
  • Coordinate testing cycles, manage change processes, and oversee deployments
  • Configure client-specific settings on trading platforms
  • Improve tooling, processes, and documentation for efficient and seamless onboarding

Required skills, qualification and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in engineering, computer science or an equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of FIX Protocol, FIX certification and testing experience
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with external clients
  • Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux
  • Good knowledge of SQL and databases
  • Good knowledge of connectivity, Networks and TCP/IP, Firewalls
  • Programming or scripting knowledge
  • Exposure to any of the asset classes: Equities, Futures, Options, FX.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
