Experience: 0-3 years
Skills: SQL, JSON, JavaScript, C
Basic Qualifications Required to be successful in this role:
- 0-3 years’ prior experience in a technical support role
- Experience with and understanding of K-12 assessment terminology, practice, score data and test metadata
- Understanding of basic data warehouse concepts and terminology
- Experience developing technical documentation
- Understanding of the concepts of Agile development
- Basic understanding of SQL, JSON, JavaScript, C
- A keen eye for detecting anomalies in data
- An inquisitive and solution driven approach to data analysis
Job Description for Technical Support Engineer Job Opening at PowerSchool:
- Developing internal and customer-facing documentation related to current and planned technology and data loading tools and processes
- Contributing to customer solutions by applying knowledge of K-12 assessment score data, assessment metadata and the technologies used to load assessment data
- Updating software data loading tools as various assessment file layouts change
- Using basic SQL queries to identify data anomalies
