Eligibility Criteria:
Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Job Location: Bangalore
Experience: 2-3 Years
Skills: TypeScript/JavaScript, jQuery, HTML CSS
Skills Required to be successful in this role:
- 2-3 years of software development experience building large scale and highly distributed application
- Designing software applications running on multiple platform types.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to adapt to new tools & technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate product design proposals and negotiate options at team level.
- Familiarity with agile software development.
- TypeScript/JavaScript, jQuery, HTML CSS, RESTful Web Services
- Knockout JS / Angular / Bootstrap
- C#, ASP.NET, CS HTML
- Databases (MS SQL / Oracle)
- Good experience with web browser developer tools such as Chrome DevTools
- Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills for web-based application
- Good to have Cloud exposure
Job Description for Software Engineer Job Opening at OpenText:
- Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet based platforms.
- Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
- Executes and writes portions of unit testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.
- Participates as a member of project team of other software applications engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for assigned applications portion or subsystems.
- Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
