Eligibility Criteria:

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, 
Information Systems, or equivalent

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 2-3 Years

Skills: TypeScript/JavaScript, jQuery, HTML CSS

Skills Required to be successful in this role:

• 2-3 years of software development experience building large scale and highly distributed application
• Designing software applications running on multiple platform types.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to adapt to new tools & technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate product design proposals and negotiate options at team level.
• Familiarity with agile software development.
• TypeScript/JavaScript, jQuery, HTML CSS, RESTful Web Services
• Knockout JS / Angular / Bootstrap
• C#, ASP.NET, CS HTML
• Databases (MS SQL / Oracle)
• Good experience with web browser developer tools such as Chrome DevTools
• Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills for web-based application
• Good to have Cloud exposure

Job Description for Software Engineer Job Opening at OpenText:

• Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet based platforms.
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
• Executes and writes portions of unit testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.
• Participates as a member of project team of other software applications engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for assigned applications portion or subsystems.
• Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
