Job Description
- Assist in the development of new features and functionality for the RPA product. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in line with team standards.
- Work on debugging and fixing software defects. Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior engineers, QA engineers, and BA’s, to help implement product features and address technical challenges.
- Participate in code reviews to learn best practices, improve coding skills, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Assist in writing and executing unit tests, integration tests, and regression tests to ensure code quality and product stability.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and user guides related to code changes and product features.
- Continuously learn new programming languages, technologies, and development practices. Seek opportunities to improve technical knowledge through training, self-study, and mentorship.
Skills Required for Software Engineer
- 0-3 years of professional experience in software development, ideally in a technical support or engineering role.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies and version control (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to working with cloud platforms like AWS or RESTful APIs is a plus.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL queries is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, with good interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical information clearly.
- Willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills to be successful in this role
- Any internship, academic project, or personal projects related to RPA or automation is a plus.
- Exposure to RPA tools and technologies (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) is beneficial but not required.
- Strong team-oriented attitude, a willingness to ask questions and seek guidance, and a drive to continuously improve.
