Essential Functions Of Cloudops Engineer Job Opening at Software AG:

• Deployment, management, and monitoring of infrastructure and services
• Creating and maintaining CD pipelines
• Handling incidents 24/7 (on-call)
• Onboarding of new customers and environments
• Performance monitoring and optimization
• Conducting fire drills and documenting disaster recovery procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux administration and Bash scripting
• Exposure to at least one Cloud platform like AWS or Azure
• Experience with Configuration & Infrastructure management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
• Ability to take over on-call duties
• Good vocal and written communication skills in English

Nice to Haves:

• Analytical mindset and troubleshooting skills
• Exposure to Git, GitOps
• Experience in managing SaaS / PaaS
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestrators like Kubernetes
• Knowledge of networking and database fundamentals
• Self-starter mentality
• DevOps experience
• Active Directory configuration knowledge
