Qualifications for Summer Internship Job Opening at Fiserv

• Progress towards completion of a bachelor’s degree by December 2022 / May 2024 with demonstrated academic achievement
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (3.5 or above preferred)
• Interest in emerging technologies (Mobile, payments, cloud computing, information security, and converging markets)
• Knowledge of development processes and life cycles preferred (Waterfall and SCRUM/Agile)
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship

The summer internship program will run for 10 weeks, from 
June 5, 2023 – August 11, 2023, and 
interns will work approximately 40 hours per week.

Job Description

• Interns will be placed in one of the following technology areas: Application Development, Global & Cyber Security, Mobile Solutions, Network Engineering, and Quality Assurance
• Each technology area will provide a training curriculum, mentoring, and on-the-job experiential learning
• Interns will work with technology professionals and learn skills such as coding, testing, and supporting application software
• Interns will work with senior analysts and experienced teammates, offer innovative suggestions, participate in quality inspections, support ongoing documentation of existing processes, receive mentorship, and work on other complicated projects
• Assignments will offer practical experience and broad exposure to the organization, with specific activities varying by assignment.
