• Debug and ensure software quality through systematic testing.
• Develop, modify, and execute test plans, automated scripts, and testing programs.
• Analyze and document test results, recommend corrective actions, and maintain software functionality.
• Collaborate with development engineers to resolve issues effectively.

Key Requirements and Skills:

• C++ Expertise: Strong proficiency in C++ programming and Data Structures.
• Operating Systems: Solid knowledge of Windows or Linux systems.
• Debugging & Analysis: Skilled in using debuggers, memory analyzers, and solving technical issues.
• Automation & Scripting: Experience with Python or other scripting languages to write automated test cases.
• Continuous Integration: Familiarity with CI tools like Git and Jenkins.
• SDK Testing: Capability to simulate customer customizations for thorough SDK testing.
• Performance Testing: Experience in performance testing is a valuable addition.
• Hardware Certification: Proven experience in testing and certifying components across multiple hardware configurations.
• Initiative & Mentorship: Demonstrates initiative in improving testing methods, taking on new tasks, and mentoring team members.

The challenge

• Testing in C++ for Printing and Scan Solutions.
• Work towards test automation by developing new solutions, and maintaining existing test automation code.
• Developing or adapting testing tools for functional area.
• Test planning and test case execution.
• Analyze test results and debug test failures.
• For specific projects, communicate the test strategy, tactical execution plans, and test results to various functional groups.
• Serve as the Quality team interface to Product Development team and Management.
