Job Location: Bangalore
Experience: 2-3 Years
Skills : JavaScript, CSS, HTML
Salary: Upto ₹9 LPA (Expected)

Job Description For Software Engineer Job Opening at Pega:

  • Design, develop, test, maintain and improve the product capabilities using Pega Platform and Customer Decision Hub (Note: There is no Java development).
  • Work as part of collaborative team, surrounded by passionate, fun loving, talented engineers who work to deliver high quality features with very high efficiency.
  • Deliver high quality software with minimal defects that conforms with suggested design patterns and best practices.
  • Take ownership of designing and implementing a story and drive it to completion.
  • Understand and follow DevOps practices and execute the given tasks.
  • Provide effort and time estimates to complete work.
  • Contribute to development of test framework and write/execute various type of testcases (Unit/Contract etc).
  • Follow scrum practices and report the status, progress and impediments in the timely fashion.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to learn and improve skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have good knowledge on Object oriented programming and additionally experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML are highly desired.
  • Are a skilled software engineer, who can explore best practices, understand requirements, and write good quality code quickly.
  • You enjoy exploring latest developments and best practices in software industry and apply them at work.
  • Have Agile/Scrum development methodology experience.
  • You take constructive feedback with open mind and work to continuously improve yourself.
  • Are pro-active to take work and to explore new areas.
  • You are very good at verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.

What You’ve Accomplished:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology with good academic record
  • 2-3 years of software development experience in Pega.
  • CSA certification is a must and CSSA is preferrable
