Eligibility Criteria

Education : A bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering field; 
a graduate degree is strongly preferred

Job Location: Navi Mumbai

Experience: 0-1+ years

Skills:  Python, FAST/ Django/Flask

Salary: Upto ₹7 LPA (Expected)

Skills Required for Software Engineer Job Opening at Morningstar:

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a Python software developer with a total experience of 2+ years
• Python based full stack development, using FAST/ Django/Flask or other MVC frameworks experience is required.
• Unit test case writing understanding is required
• A minimum of 1 year of experience on cloud services like AWS/Azure/Google Cloud is required
• Experience in UI development using Javascript frameworks like vue js/Angular JS is good to have.
• Source Control knowledge preferably Git/stash must have.
• Understanding of DevOps processes including packaging, deploying, execution on docker or serverless is good to have.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools preferably Jenkins is good to have.
• Experience in agile is good to have
• Willingness to learn & work on cross technologies is must have
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, and maintain the software code base of Credit products working in an agile environment.
• Analyses and reviews system requirements. Uses requirement and other design documents to gain overall understanding of the functionality of the new or enhanced application.
• Participate actively in the build phases, to aim at producing high quality deliverables.
• Provide recommendations on product and development environment improvements.
• Defect fixing & enhancement is the responsibility of developer.
