Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
Job Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3+ years
Skills: ASTM, ASME, EN and API 610 etc
Salary: Upto ₹9 LPA (Expected)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure product safety through proper reviewing of the product documents and worksite safety through championing FLS policies and procedures.
- Review Certified Material Test Reports (Chemical, mechanical and non-destructive examination) with respect to ASTM and other applicable standards and procedures.
- Create or revising the quality assurance plan (QAP) per site/customer request.
- Review component dimensional inspection reports against the manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare/Review of products data book with respect to customer requirements.
- Interact with quality engineers on different Flowserve business units across the world to update status and resolve issues related to certification review.
- Follow up with suppliers for correcting deviations and getting pending documentation.
- Update and maintain the QA/QC activity records.
- Drive strong performance with respect to responsiveness, key indicators (OTD, KQI, utilization and efficiency).
- Ability to sustain and improve key indicators using CIP techniques.
- Prepare work procedures/ checklist/ learning points to minimize the errors for all types of assignments for responsible business units.
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with business units. Enhance collaboration to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration between team engineers and Supervisors.
- Train Assistant QA engineers within the team.
Required skills for QA Engineer Job Opening at Flowserve:
- Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years experience in pumps or rotating equipment industry.
- Hands on experience in Lean systems/Kaizen activities.
- Ability to read and understand quality procedures/customer specification.
- Knowledge on standards like ASTM, ASME, EN and API 610 etc.
- Knowledge on engineering materials, material testing and manufacturing processes like casting, forging, welding and heat treatment etc.
- Hands on experience in Non-destructive testing like PT, MT, UT and RT.
- Knowledge on database management tools such as OE PDMS and ERP like SAP, Oracle, BAAN, Symix is preferred.
- Good knowledge on MS office.
