Key Role & Responsibilities for Intern Job Opening at AMD:
- Design, build, and maintain compiler technologies for the HIP, OpenCL, and OpenMP programming models.
- To enable high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities on AMD GPUs, optimize and enhance code creation, optimization, and parallelization methods.
- Enhancements to the LLVM-based compiler that is at the core of language implementations such as HIP, OpenCL, and OpenMP on AMD GPUS.
Preferred skills to be successful in this role:
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Strong knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures
- Knowledge of compilers and parallel programming is desirable.
- Interest in the design of programming languages, computer architecture, and compiler optimizations is essential.
