Eligibility Criteria

Education : Any Engineering Graduate
Job Location: Hyderabad
Experience: Freshers
Skills: JAVA or Python, Selenium, TestNG and Junit
Closing date: 05-Sep-2024
Salary: Upto ₹6 LPA (Expected)

Skills Required for Software Engineer Job Opening at HSBC:

  • Strong programming skills in JAVA or Python to develop Test automation frameworks using automation tools like Selenium, TestNG and Junit.
  • Working knowledge on products like Pega, CIM and VCX is helpful.
  • Expertise in Automation framework development using Selenium or Tosca.
  • Strong expertise in different types of Performance testing like Load testing, Stress testing, Peak testing and Volume testing using tools like JMeter.
  • Expertise in Software development best practices
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles.
  • Expert knowledge of writing technical documentation/defects and issues
  • Hands on experience using source control systems such as GitHub.
  • Good Experience of ETL testing and strong in SQL queries.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills; attention to detail, thoroughness, and strong ownership of work

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and supporting test automation scripts for test infrastructure and providing automation solutions.
  • Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.
  • Take full ownership of and maintain a robust QA environment, including test databases and system deployments.
  • Devise test strategies to adequately cover requirements, develop high-level test scenarios that implement the strategy, and elaborate scenarios into detailed test cases.
  • Conduct training and best practice sessions with QA Team.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to develop and maintain test schedules within established project management methodologies.
