Roles:

• You will have a solid background in customer-facing roles with a strong technical foundation in Big Data and open-source analytics solutions.
• As a Big Data Support Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support, resolving issues, and ensuring the optimal performance of our clients’ Big Data environments.

Qualification and Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing or support role in any of the following: technical escalation support, product support, developer support, IT DevOps, IT Admin/support, System Development, Consulting, or IT/Network Operations.
• Firsthand working (or supporting) 5+ years of experience in Big Data and open-source analytics solutions, including expertise in:
• Apache Spark, Hive, Interactive Query, Kafka, Hadoop, HBase, Flink, Trino.
• Distributed and parallel processing.
• Data flow orchestration.
• Apache Ranger for Data security.
• Hive Query Language (HQL), Scala, PySpark.
• Spark Streaming, RDDs, Data Frames, ML.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in any of the following:
• Microsoft Azure Platform, including Cloud Computing, Microsoft Azure architecture and its components (HDInsight, ADF, Fabric, Compute, Storage, Network, AAD-DS, SQL DB).
• NoSQL, T-SQL, Kusto QL, or equivalent query language.
• Networking/DNS/Firewall administration.
• Experience with Apache Kubernetes would be a plus for this role.
• Ability to read, write, and debug product code in Java, .NET, and Python primarily
