Hi, we’re Swiggy, a food delivery service headquartered in Bangalore, and we’re looking for experienced UX Designers to work on our consumer-facing properties.
Online Food Ordering is a space where one can challenge a lot of conventional notions around how new dishes and restaurants are discovered, how individual tastes translate into dinner choices, how users compose a meal, and how lifestyle choices can segue seamlessly into the food ordering experience.
These are areas which haven’t been comprehensively ‘solved’ by any player, and we want want to be the first to nail them down.
That is why we are looking for Star UX Designers who will define the Swiggy Experience across multiple channels (Desktop and Mobile Web, Android and iOS Apps) – both in terms of incredibly simple and intuitive user experience, as well as a common visual language for all our properties.
A UX Designer at Swiggy will be expected to bring to the table:
- A very high degree of focus on the Customer
- High level conceptual thinking about product and user problems
- The ability to articulate and defend design choices using research / data
- A solid understanding of prevailing trends in UX
- Proficiency with Design tools, and an obsession with pixel-perfect detailing
