Eligibility Criteria:
Education: PhD/Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics or a related field with relevant work experience
Job Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Experience: 0-1 Years
Skills: Generative AI, Large Language Model
Salary: Upto ₹6.5 LPA (Expected)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and build RAG service platform orchestrations including prompt engineering, guardrails, vector databases, API Grounding.
- Prepare proof-of-concept, demo / prototypes, design and execute pilot studies using Generative AI(Large Language Models, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models).
- Work with engineering, platform and product teams and contribute to dataset/document preparation, prompt engineering, customization, training, fine-tuning and deployment of LLMs.
- Work directly with the ML Infrastructure and Platform teams to identify opportunities to further improve and optimize the tools and solutions.
- Collecting, ingesting and preprocessing unstructured or structured data.
- Apply best practices for security, performance, and reliability.
Required skills for Staff AI Engineer Job Opening at Fortanix:
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Generative AI, Large Language Model.
- Data engineering (especially working with unstructured data)
- Data ingestion/indexing techniques. Search skills and RAG techniques.
- Experience in NLP and Conversational AI.
- Also has experience in LLM validation, reliability, toxicity/harmfulness avoidance, LLM hallucination.
- Experience with vector DB.
- You can deal with ambiguity, manage complexity, and drive for results; ultimately, taking end-to-end ownership of the outcome.
- PhD/Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics or a related field with relevant work experience.
