Eligibility Criteria For SRE Engineer Job Openings at HPE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree(or equivalent) in computer science/related discipline
Job Location: Bangalore
Experience: Freshers
Skills: Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript
Salary: Upto ₹9 LPA (Expected)
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
- Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to program using one or more high-level languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript
- Experience with technologies such as NFS, Amazon S3, as well as dynamic resource management frameworks (Apache Mesos, Kubernetes, Yarn)
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD
- Knowledge of networking concepts, such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Load balancing etc
- Develop and provide operational support for full stack software applications
- Manage cloud and database system maintenance, debugging production issues as they raise
- Strong hand on expertise on Kubernetes, containerization technologies
- Monitor all alerts related to applications and provide proactive services
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
Preferred Skills:
- Previous success in technical engineering
- Coding experience beyond simple scripts
