- Solaris O.S installation using various methods like Interactive, Custom Jumpstart, Flash, Live Upgrade and Remote Server Installation.
- Configuring Network File System and their mounts.
- Configuration and administration of Solaris Zones and Containers.
- Configuration and administration of ZFS storage pools and ZFS File system.
- SVM: Creating Stripe, mirrored and RAID 5 volumes.
- Mirroring the root file system with SVM, Replacing Failed Disks under SVM.
- VXVM : Installation of Veritas Volume Manager , Veritas File system
- Disk initialization, Disk Group creation, Volume creation, vxfs creation.
- Importing and Deporting disk groups, creating Stripe, mirror and RAID 5 volume.
- Troubleshooting of Veritas errors & Daemon control.
- Replacing the Failed Disks under VXVM.
- Hardware Replacement: Replacing the Faulty System Board, I/O Board, System controllers and center planes.
