Job Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Skills: Java, BPM/Active Vos, PIM(ETL/PC)

Basic Qualifications Required to be successful in this role :

  • Education Qualification – B. Tech / B.E. – Computers OR  MCA / M. Tech
  • Informatica tool experience in PIM(ETL/PC)
  • Basic understanding of Java concepts.
  • Experience in BPM/Active Vos is bonus.
  • Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages
  • Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues
  • Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
  • Dedicated to work on new technologies.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
  • Possess strong problem solving and decision making skills while using good judgment.
  • Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Personal Traits – Strong Verbal and Written communication skills, such as meeting, presentation and documentation

Job Description for Software Engineer Job Opening at Caterpillar:

  • Participate in design workshops with customers to understand their business challenges.
  • Must have Informatica P360 PIM Certification.
  • Propose solutions based on Informatica P360 platform capabilities.
  • Propose technical options and solutions along with thorough comparative analysis of these different options.
  • Hands on with technical team for design and implementation.
  • Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for PIM solutions
  • Define implementation processes, quality gates and standards.
  • Define best practices to implement non-functional requirements like performance, scalability and maintainability of the PIM solutions.
  • Support the development and test teams for installation and configuration of P360 platform.
