- Designing, developing, and testing software applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems
- Maintaining and improving existing software applications
- Keeping up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality standards are met
- Demonstrating flexibility and eagerness to learn new technologies and programming languages
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Upholding company values and exhibiting positive attitude and behavior in line with Mahindra RISE Pillars.
Skills Required for Software Engineer Job Opening at Bristlecone
- Willingness to take on new assignments
- Knowledge of microservice designs and implementation
- Knowledge of Azure technologies
- Experience coding for Secure solutions and vulnerability remediation
- Performance Tuning and Optimization skills
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps configurations or a similar CI/CD pipeline for multiple teams and platforms
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, YAML
- Strong analytical skills
- Proactive and willing to take initiative to complete workload
- Cloud Knowledge – Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory
- Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
- Knowledge of Python, Java
- Knowledge of Web Services – REST
- Background with Agile Scrum Delivery and Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/GitHub
