We are looking to hire for a Principal Business Analyst
Educational Qualification :
Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or related technical degree from Tier-1 Universities
Relevant Experience :
- 4+ years of work experience in a related position with at least 2-3 years of core analytics experience.
- Experience in solving business problems through predictive, optimization & other statistical modelling
Functional Competencies :
- Must have : Knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, data mining, text mining
- Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of the following languages : SAS, Python, R
- Experience in handling big datasets (Structured or unstructured data). Ability to understand business problems and convert them into data models
- Provide solutions but not limited to: Customer Segmentation & Targeting, Propensity Modelling, Churn Modelling, Lifetime Value Estimation, Forecasting, Recommendation Systems, etc
- Good to have :Experience working with big data platforms, like Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark, etc
