Java Application Architect

• A candidate with 10+ years of experience and it is desirable that the candidate has experience in core Java and J2EE technologies with hands on XML, XSD and Web Services.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of any J2EE Framework Good understanding and working knowledge of any Application Server Good understanding and working knowledge of any ORM tool
• Java Architect: Focused on various application architecture, object modeling,
• frameworks, COTs and component suites on Java platform.
• Should have minimum 9 years of IT experience with at least 2 years working as Project Lead.
• Must have good knowledge of a specific Technology platform.  Must have hands-on-experience of variety of tools/operating environments as required by the technology platform.
• Must be aware of the design methodologies and architecture principles for different kinds of applications.
• Must have designed and implemented minimum 2 applications under the guidance of an application architect.
• Must have exposed to complete project life cycle and possess good project management skills
• Must have good oral and written communication skills

• Conceptualize the architecture and high level design for the application ensuring that all the functional and non
• Finalize the technology stack and standards for the application being developed, coordinating with key stakeholders.
• Ensure that the team adheres to the proposed architecture/design throughout the project life cycle and render guidance/assistance as required.
• Identify and conduct POC; and train team members as required by the project to mitigate the technical risks.
• Improve delivery efficiency through identification and development of reusable components/frameworks in the project/technology platform.
• Conduct effective knowledge sharing across different project teams in the organization.
• Conduct check point review for code and ensure that best practices are followed.
• Manage Project Lead(s) across projects and mentor them to achieve their goals.
