Responsibilities for the GenAI Trainee Job Opening at DATAECONOMY:

• Assist in designing and developing applications powered by LLMs, RAG pipelines, and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Support in fine-tuning pretrained models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, BERT) for specific use cases.
• Learn to implement RAG pipelines with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone) for context-aware AI solutions.
• Contribute to building intelligent agent workflows for automation, reasoning, and decision-making.
• Write Python scripts for text classification, summarization, question answering, and related NLP tasks.
• Work closely with senior engineers, data scientists, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions.
• Follow best practices for coding, version control, and AI model deployment in cloud environments.

Requirements qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• M.Tech in Data Science from IIT/NIT or other top-tier institutes (2024 or 2025 pass-out).
• Strong understanding of Python programming and basic ML concepts.
• Academic exposure to NLP, Generative AI, or related coursework/projects.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers (preferred but not mandatory).
• Good problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
• Eagerness to learn emerging AI/ML technologies and apply them to real-world problems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in AI, ML, NLP, or data engineering.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Certifications in AI/ML from reputed platforms.
