💼 Intern – Application Security – Bangalore ((NEW))

Eligibility Criteria :

Qualification: B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field -
Experience: 0 - 1 Years -
Skills: Testing and bug bounty experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop sufficient technical competence to actively contribute to the ongoing initiatives of the Application Security practice.
- Take ownership of Application Security practice initiatives and consistently deliver high-quality results.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to develop effective solutions for application security challenges.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding and proficiency in the delivery process and methodology of Application Security service offerings.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in the field of cybersecurity, particularly in application security.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to strengthen skills and expertise in Application Security domain.
- Actively participate in team meetings, one-on-one, and training sessions to share knowledge and insights with colleagues and peers.
Required Skills:
- Must have bug bounty experience (preference for candidates with a published bug bounty profile)
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in web application penetration testing
- Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 (Web, API and Mobile), emerging application security threats, research, and security techniques
- Working knowledge at least one, typical enterprise, programming language
- Prior experience with bug bounty programs on platforms like Bug crowd or Hackerone is preferred
- Willing to pursue related professional certifications such as the eWPT, OSCP or OSWE
- Familiarity with tenants within the common body of knowledge relating to computer science, software engineering/development, and DevOps
- Effective technical writing skills
Stipend: ₹4 LPA—₹8 LPA (Glassdoor)
