đź’Ľ Software Engineer – Pune ((NEW))
Amdocs is hiring an Software Engineer for the Pune location. Please read the complete information carefully and apply if you are eligible.
Eligibility Criteria :

Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field -
Experience: 0 - 2 Years -
Skills: Python, SQL, and Spark (Py Spark preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integration solutions for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Build and optimize distributed systems for data ingestion, transformation, and storage from diverse sources (relational, event-based, unstructured).
- Implement frameworks to monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Develop and operate large-scale data storage and processing solutions using cloud-based and distributed platforms (Data Lakes).
- Leverage multi cloud data technologies to develop data platform as a product.
- Stay current with emerging AI, GenAI, and data engineering trends, recommending improvements to systems and workflows.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and Spark (Py Spark preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, system design, and programming skills.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and data engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP
Good to Have:
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience developing AI-driven tools or copilots using GenAI APIs.
