Responsibilities:
- Eng I, Software:
- Design, build, test, assemble, support and configure application using business requirements
- Bake technology trends into solutions; Participate in the development of automation solutions, new functionality and technologies and integrate them in existing solutions
- Taking ownership of small tasks and delivering without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Eng I, V&V:
- Develop Test Procedures, Test Protocols, Test cases for User and Functional Requirements
- Perform Installation/Operational/Performance Qualification Protocols for the Test fixtures and Test Rigs
- Support compliance/ closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/ Program Deliverables
- Participate in the development of Verification & Validation methodologies in accordance with applicable Quality/Regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Diagnose, isolate and investigate problem reports. Drive product improvements and/or bug fixes.
- Works with external test houses (such as EMI, EMC tests for electrical boards and full device) to define the test scope, execute & consolidate the reports
- Participate in continuous improvement activities by supporting the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
- Develop / build capability in test automation tools and realizing test automation suite
Required Skills for Engineer I Job Opening at Baxter:
- Eng I, Software:
- Graduate degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a reputed institution with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Must possess Strong expertise in Systems Software Programming Skills [JAVA, C/C++ etc.] Must possess sound understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, Operating systems, Algorithm, design, data structures, and complexity analysis.
- Eng I, V&V:
- Graduate/post graduate degree in Bio-medical or Electronics & Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science with an expert level knowledge in one of the disciplines. or equivalent engineering from a reputed institution with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to apply engineering concepts to electro-mechanical systems with software, their functionality, connectivity and usability aspects.
- Ability to do data analysis of testing and sample size calculations. (Prior knowledge of the tools like Minitab/JIRA/ALM is desirable but not mandatory)
- Desirable to have simulation and system automation knowledge
