Job Description For Data Scientist Job Opening at SAP:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data for analysis.
• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models under the guidance of senior team members.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns in data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Implement and maintain data pipelines to support machine learning model deployment.
• Assist in the evaluation and testing of models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document processes, methodologies, and results for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Basic Qualifications Required:

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or similar.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
• Exposure to SQL and experience with database querying is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark.
