Job Description:
- Provide domain expertise and engineer solutions that propel our culture of innovation and challenge conventional industry standards.
- Play a key role in disrupting the mass customization industry, helping to drive the company’s growth beyond $3 billion in revenue.
- Manage and leverage a vast dataset of images and text, utilizing advanced frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow to train and deploy sophisticated deep learning models across more than 50 AI/ML-powered micro-services.
- Employ cutting-edge generative AI technologies to autonomously create designs and fine-tune large language models using our extensive in-house data.
In this role, you will:
- Utilize Artificial Intelligence to address unique challenges specific to Cimpress and mass customization.
- Research leading-edge technologies that have significant business implications.
- Develop models that autonomously generate designs using generative AI.
- Implement AI classification models to automatically detect and correct design defects, improving image quality and correcting issues such as blurring
Preferred Skills for Data Scientist Job Opening at Cimpress:
- Deep expertise in advanced Deep Learning techniques, including CNNs, GANs, RNNs, and Transformers.
- Strong foundation in Computer Vision and familiarity with Natural Language Processing.
- Proficiency in Python.
- At least two years of hands-on experience in developing models for computer vision and machine learning.
- An academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
Highly Desirable:
- Advanced degrees in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or Machine Learning.
- Software development experience with exposure to big data platforms.
- Demonstrate ownership capabilities.
