Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop world class code for software enterprises
- Timely delivery of software projects, support incident fixes
- Effective communication of requirements, issues, reports on regular basis
Primary Skills required:
- Excellent knowledge of Java language and core API, Java 5/6, J2EE, JavaScript, open source JAVA application servers e.g. Tomcat
- Experience in HTTP, XML / XSD, Eclipse IDE, Hibernate, Spring MVC Framework, SVN, Junit
- Experience in DBMSs such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres and MySQL
- Experience working on Web Browser/Web server/Database interactions
- Ability to produce technical documentation to support solutions implemented
- Experience working with global organisation with understanding of offshore delivery model
- Experience in following industry standard processes for software development & support
Secondary Skills required:
- EJB, REST / SOAP, Experience of using JMeter, Hudson, Maven
Soft Skills required:
- Should be self-motivated and self-driven
- Ability to work with team members across the globe
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to define, implement and work to a schedule
- Good time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work with little or no supervision
