Preferred Skills for Backend Developer Job Opening at NetApp:
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing)
- Strong background in one of the programming languages, preferably in Golang or Javascript.
- Sound foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with REST API, Cloud, and Virtualization environments is a plus.
- Exposure to full stack development experience.
- Storage background preferred.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will work as part of a team of skilled engineers accountable for participating in the entire lifecycle of the products including design, development, maintenance & testing.
- As part of this function, you will build a deep working knowledge of core NetApp technologies, cloud technologies, storage systems and more.
- Also actively participate in the coding and design process right from incubation to completion of the product.
- You will participate in technical discussions within the immediate group and across functions, where evaluating and executing design and development plans for products are reviewed.
- Will be guided by senior members of the team in building and architecting cloud-scale products that will be used by thousands of customers.
