Job Description:
- Designs, creates, and operates the company’s internal data communications systems and infrastructure.
- Plans, designs and implements local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and develops new solutions and tooling using standard and advanced technologies.
- Ensures deployed networks and infrastructure are flexible and support quick ‘on demand’ access.
- Supports / troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation of such items as routers and switches.
- Works on or leads network-related project implementation.
Required Skills for Assoc Network Engineer Job Opening at Diebold Nixdorf:
- Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Network Engineering .
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
Responsibilities:
- Gains familiarity with network engineering concepts, practices and methodologies.
- Learns to perform network engineering duties, including: Configuring and installing network devices and services, Performing network maintenance and system upgrades, Monitoring performance to ensure system availability and reliability, Monitoring system resource utilization, trending and capacity, Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting, Selecting and implementing security tools, policies and procedures.
- Learns and applies DN’s network engineering policies and guidelines.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
