Job Description for Application Engineer Job Opening at CommerceIQ:

• Apply your engineering skills to the development and maintenance of Data integration applications.
• Handle daily operations and meet relevant SLAs, further figure out ways to automate the same.
• Touch base with relevant application teams, product teams and other stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Handle API migrations from external parties and ensure no disruption to CIQ business.
• Provide requirements to the platform team to make the platform robust, fault tolerant and low on ops.
• Produce high-quality code in alignment with the squad’s coding standards and design practices.
• Play an active role in the growth and development of the squad; explore and learn new techniques, technologies and tools.
• Own your changes from development to production and beyond.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience developing systems and products using Java and spring boot
• Understanding of AWS capabilities
• Good in Debugging, Coding, Problem solving
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• A passion for delivering quality software
• Desire to learn new things
• Good troubleshooting skills

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies
• Hands on experience of building services in the cloud, especially with AWS
• Data analysis and SQL skills
