Job Description of a Test Automation Engineer Job Openings at Cerner:
- As a Test Automation Engineer your primary focus will be to develop, maintain and execute automation tests for development projects.
- Maintain and assist with development of the test automation architecture and frameworks.
- Ensure scalability of automation and continuous integration across the solution.
- Troubleshoot testing scenarios and domains issues, as they arise. You will write basic scripts in one or more programming languages.
- Work on a development team that follows the Agile software development methodology.
- Work within a team that develops within a large & complex product, requiring you to be detail-oriented and analytical.
- Review requirements, and other documentation, to create quality tests, that help ensure a high-quality software release can be achieved.
- Execute test cases in development & certification environments, which will often require configuration & troubleshooting to execute successfully.
- Document test execution issues found in our internal tracking systems. You will also assist with the test automation architecture and frameworks utilized within the development team, when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with the Agile software development methodology, Systems development, Automated testing, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, C#, Windows UI development, and SQL
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
