Responsibilities:

• Database testing using SQL preferably using SQL Server Management Studio for MSSQL server
• Creation and execution of automation testing strategies and framework
• Aware of latest trending best practices, tools, techniques, tips, and tricks in automation testing
• Mindset to be always tuned to collaboration across scrum teams and cross functional teams
• An attitude to debug issues and provide solutions to the issues raised while testing and having a “Can do” attitude with an eye for Quality
• Automation initiatives to reduce functional defects and uncover performance problems early, well before code is released into production

Required Skills:

• Experience of working as functional QA
• Understanding of KDB technology
• A quick learner, being able to adapt to a fast-paced heterogeneous environment and acquire necessary knowledge.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of capital markets, electronic trading, order flow and execution, FIX protocol
• Hands-on experience working with defect tracking using tools like Jira, ALM and continuous integration systems.
• Hands-on experience to troubleshoot/investigate environment issues.
• Ability to design user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Ability to understand and analyse requirements.
• Good understanding of QA processes, executions & reporting
• Good understanding of Software Testing & Defect Life Cycle
• Hands-on experience in UI automation technologies Playwright, Cypress
• Basic knowledge of Unix environments
