💼 Back-End Engineer — Pune ((NEW))
LotusFlare is hiring an Back-End Engineer for the Pune location. Please read the complete information carefully and apply if you are eligible.
Eligibility Criteria :

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Science in Computer Science or a related technical field -
Experience: 0 - 2 Years -
Skills: Java, Python, Golang, C++, or similar is equally valuable
Responsibilities:
- Your day usually starts with a daily meeting/standup/quick sync-up
- Your daily responsibilities include the entire software cycle from developing/testing, to code reviews, and maintaining/managing your code/application on production
- You closely collaborate with product and other functional engineering teams
- You take time out of your day to closely collaborate with your teammates, asking questions or providing answers
- You take ownership of the code you write
Required skills:
- B.E/B.Tech in Science in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Backend engineering experience is required. We take a language-agnostic approach and primarily use Node.js, Lua, and Scala; however, experience with other backend languages such as Java, Python, Golang, C++, or similar is equally valuable
- Experience in building secure, scalable web services
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with RESTful services
- Good understanding of network stack and HTTP protocol
- Experience with concurrency, multithreading, or asynchronous programming
- Knowledge of data modeling in SQL and/or NoSQL environments
- Experience with (any combination of) AWS, Redis, Kafka, and Cassandra would be a plus
