Responsibilities of Entry Level Cybersecurity Engineer Job Opening at Terralogic:
- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts for potential threats
- Support configuration and hardening of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools
- Document findings, remediation steps, and maintain security playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident response and root-cause analysis
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a Cyber Security specialization
- Fundamental understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls)
- Familiarity with common security tools and frameworks
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication for technical documentation
- Team player, eager to learn from seasoned security professionals
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high security standards
- Proactive attitude toward continuous self-improvement
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to join by 1st September 2025
- Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift environment
- Agreement to a 3-year employment bond
