Job Location: Bangalore ( Hybrid)

Experience 0 - 4 years 

Salary:  ₹4 LPA - ₹9 LPA (As per Glassdoor)

Responsibilities of System Engineer Job Opening at Cognizant

• Performing hardware moves: Rack and Stack

• Testbed cabling based on topology diagrams

• Maintaining organized and labeled cable runs to comply with best practices and audit requirements

• Rack decommissioning, including:

  • Disconnecting SmartPDUs and power cables

  • Removing equipment

  • Storing cables neatly for repurposing

• Packaging and/or palletizing equipment in preparation for shipping

• Following general housekeeping practices, including:

  • Removing cardboard boxes and packaging materials

  • Palletizing unwanted equipment for disposal

• Supporting asset management and tracking processes

• Coordinating team efforts for shipping and logistics-related tasks

• Ensuring adherence to ISO standards and procedures

Skills & Qualifications

• Capable of lifting heavy equipment without restrictions

• Able to stand for extended periods of time

• Capable of safely operating a pallet jack or electrical lift

• Ability to use a case management tool to handle work requests

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Team player with the ability to collaborate and drive projects to closure
