Eligibility Criteria :

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, 

or a related field.

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 0-2 year

Skills: Java, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), Go , SQL, NoSQL

Salary: ₹9 LPA to ₹13 LPA (as per Glassdoor) 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain secure, high-performance APIs for Flywire’s Payex platform, enabling seamless payment processing and expense management.
  • Integrate Flywire’s system with banking networks, payment providers, and ERP systems to enhance financial operations.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and finance teams to improve system efficiency and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code following best practices in software development.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging financial transaction workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to maintain system stability and deployment efficiency.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in payment technologies, financial security, and compliance regulations.

Preferred Qualifications for Software Engineer I – Job Opening at Flywire:

  • 0-2 years of experience in software development, preferably in fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), or Go.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and ability to write optimized queries.
  • Basic understanding of payment processing, financial transactions, and reconciliation workflows.
  • Exposure to cloud-based development (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize backend applications.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and remote-first environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
