- His dad had to shut down his car-finance business in Surat while shifting to Vadodara.
- Lives of Hardik and his brother Krunal took a different turn at a very tender age.
- Hardik stopped schooling after ninth grade to focus on cricket
- His dad had heart attacks and family suffered financially without father’s aid.
- They hardly had MONEY for anything extra. There were times, when they only ate one MAGGI per day.
- Both brothers would often spent entire day at the grounds with a single meal of NOODLES

- Started his journey at the Kiran More International Cricket Academy.
- Earned as less as 2000 INR monthly, yet contributed towards family’s expenses amid father’s health condition.
- Pandya began playing in villages and nearby societies, charging fees of 400 rs per match to earn extra.
What did Hardik Pandya achieve till now?
- Pandya now plays for the following:
- Baroda cricket team since 2013 till date.
- Mumbai Indians IPL team since 2015.
- International Cricket Team – India since 2016.
- He was chosen to play in the Indian squad during 2016 Asia Cup and 2016 ICC World Twenty 20.
- He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for India against New Zealand on 16 October 2016
Recent interesting incident during cricket matches by Hardik Pandya:
Incident 1: Hardik Pandya set new record by scoring 26 runs in an over in India vs Sri-lanka 2017 test cricket match. In 116th over, he scored 4,4,6,6,6,0. With this he set a new record of scoring highest runs by an Indian in an over in Test cricket match.
Incident 2: DURING ICC Champions Trophy 2017 FINALS – He became the fastest player to score a half-century in an ICC event’s final match by scoring 76 from 43 deliveries against Pakistan in, in which his 50 came off 32 balls.
