• Primary Responsibilities:
  • Gain expertise in SQL, Azure, Python, Java, and Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Study data warehousing, data mart design, and ER modelling for ML and BI.
  • Utilise Hadoop, R, and Python as Big Data tools to address business issues in the healthcare industry.
  • Learn about the US healthcare industry
• Requirements Analysis and Planning
  • Assist in gathering project requirements under supervision.
  • Help in creating thorough project plans and task lists.
  • Communicate with clients to comprehend data and strategies.
  • Document and present the metadata used in projects
• Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Data Lake teams to comprehend data access and storage.
  • For engineering solutions, collaborate with the BI and Data Science teams.
• Design and Develop
  • Project-related data models, denormalised views, and data marts
  • Procedures for data quality control related to the analytical data sets
• Capability Development
  • Collaborate with senior team members to create new team capabilities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• Experience  – Between 0-2 years of experience with below mentioned skills
• Programming Languages – Python or Scala or Java
• Microsoft Azure
• NO SQL Databases – HBase or MongoDB or Cassandra
• Unix Shell Scripting
• Configuration Management – GitHub
• Relational Databases – SQL Server or Oracle or Teradata or IBM DB2 or MySQL

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Knowledge or experience with Big Data Ecosystem – Hive, Sqoop, Spark (RDD, SQL, Streaming), Kafka
• Knowledge or experience with Dimensional Modeling in Big Data or Cloud environments
• Knowledge or experience with Data Warehousing Design – FACT Tables Design, Snowflake Schema on Big Data Environment
• Knowledge on Agile or Scrum
• Knowledge or experience on Elastic Search
• Knowledge or experience on Cloud Technologies – Azure or AWS
• Knowledge or experience with Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge or experience using Microsoft Excel, Power Point
