- Good at computer science concepts
- Familiarity to operating system like Unix & Windows
- Should have background to application programming and system
- Good understanding of software lifecycle from curriculum subject
- Strong willingness to research and explore technologies in and around the product.
- Should have good knowledge of curriculum and related subjects
Job Description For Trainee Software Engineer Job Opening at Protegrity:
- You will be required to thoroughly learn the product and its associated source code assigned to you by your teams.
- Work in a fully efficient development environment to research/design/code/unit test/build/troubleshoot Protegrity products.
- You will need to develop a very good understanding of the overall architecture of the product and be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional in multiple time zones agile team
- You will be involved in developing & maintaining the product artifacts across product releases including but not limited to the design/architecture, source code, Unit tests, Build Scripts & Devops pipelines.
- Should be able to assist in the rollout of software releases and provide required help on continuous integration
Preferred Skills:
- Hands on with Linux Shell Scripting
- Hands on with writing code/scripts using Java/Python or any other programming language.
- Having background to modern computing concepts like Cloud, Containerization(Preferred with a knowledge of any of the cloud providers AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Familiarity to containerization platforms(Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of basic networking concepts, TCP/IP and Socket
- Background/interest to cryptography and information security concepts
