Job Description: Java Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop world class code for software enterprises
• Timely delivery of software projects, support incident fixes
• Effective communication of requirements, issues, reports on regular basis

Primary Skills required:

• Excellent knowledge of Java language and core API, Java 5/6, J2EE, JavaScript, open source JAVA application servers e.g. Tomcat
• Experience in HTTP, XML / XSD, Eclipse IDE, Hibernate, Spring MVC Framework, SVN, Junit
• Experience in DBMSs such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres and MySQL
• Experience working on Web Browser/Web server/Database interactions
• Ability to produce technical documentation to support solutions implemented
• Experience working with global organisation with understanding of offshore delivery model
• Experience in following industry standard processes for software development & support

Secondary Skills required:

• EJB, REST / SOAP, Experience of using JMeter, Hudson, Maven

Soft Skills required:

• Should be self-motivated and self-driven
• Ability to work with team members across the globe
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to define, implement and work to a schedule
• Good time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to work with little or no supervision
