Responsibilities for the Associate Test Engineer Job Opening at IQVIA :

• Understand and review requirements, create a test plan, or contribute in test estimation, planning/strategy
• Responsible for test planning, test case authoring, and execution for compliance products for client implementation projects
• Executing test iterations, defect tracking and reporting test results, troubleshooting, and coordinating with the team, focusingon  defect resolution
• Work closely with Developers, Tech leads/managers, BA/Consultant, and other project stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Coordinate with BA and development teams in resolving roadblocks and issues
• Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate
• Hands-on experience in running test scripts and identifying scope for areas of automation to bring process efficiency
• Proactively to discuss/flag challenges, risk & mitigation plan with the Manager and seek necessary support

Requirements, qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Computer Science – Branch any degree (BCA, MCA, BSC, MSC)
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC processes, and testing concepts.
• Good Knowledge in Understanding Business Requirements Document, Functional Requirements Document, and Software Requirement Specifications.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing skills.
• Knowledge of test planning, test case writing, and execution.
• Knowledge in testing every phase of the Function testing, Regression testing, Performance testing, Smoke testing, UI testing, and User Acceptance testing.
• Good knowledge of defect tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Good communication skills.
