Job Description for Software Engineer Job Opening at Informatica

Be a hands-on developer for the assigned components and features
Facilitate the collaboration and engagement between senior members of the team to ensure sound design and implementation of main functionality areas for the product
Write unit tests and integration tests for the assigned components and features
Follow the clean code guidelines
Provide engineering support to Customer Success, Support and Partner teams

Required Skills

1+ years of experience developing core backend components of an enterprise software product
Development skills in Java using appropriate data structures & design patterns
Experience working in J2EE technologies / REST based services like Spring Boot, Spring MVC is a big plus
Experience working in cloud technologies
Experience building with frameworks
Experience excelling within a development team
Experience working in product companies
BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience

Job Description for QA Engineer Job Opening at Informatica:

You will be based in Hyderabad, INDIA and will be responsible for:
Review requirements, design documents to create test scenarios and test cases
Develop automation tools that will be used to automate testing for our product
Automate backend and UI test cases and improve automation coverage and code coverage
Contribute to the team programs in improving testing processes
Implement test cases following the test plan and provide status report on execution progress
Isolate and report bugs and track them to closure

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Microservice-based Architecture.
knowledge of CI/CD tools implementation and practices.

Required Skills:

2+ years of enterprise software product testing experience
Experience developing test automation using Java, Selenium and Rest Assured is a must
Experience working on Linux/Unix environment
Understanding of SOAP and REST-based APIs testing
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructures
Experience in technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP technologies
Hands-on experience working with Dockers/Containers/Kubernetes/Spinnaker/Jenkins.
Hands-on experience writing SQL for relational databases (Like MySQL, and Oracle).
Experience with technologies like Tomcat, Ant/Maven/Gradle.
Exposure to Log Management and creating dashboards in any one of the tools like Sumologic or Grafana cloud.
Pick up new ideas and approaches quickly; enjoy brainstorming on design and loves problem solving with a focus on teamwork
Prior exposure to performance testing and security testing
