Demonstrate proficiency in frameworks and stacks like Docker, Containers, and a foundational knowledge of Kubernetes.
Must have experience working with AWS with multiple services.

Willingness to relocate to Noida and commit to working from the office.
Display a strong passion for rapidly learning new concepts and tech stacks and actively contributing to code.

The person is expected to work from office, from Noida and could start as soon as their Notice Period ends.

Responsibilities:

Interns will use their skills of programming, innovation, and engineering and are encouraged to implement new ideas, develop tools and applications or improvise existing methods, tools, processes, and features in the projects.
The role requires the interns to get in contact with stakeholders, customers, and colleagues in their day-to-day job which would require interpersonal, soft, and presentation skills.
Responsible to complete Assignments & Projects over the course of their project duration. It is an intern-led, intern-run project which can be seen as a self-contained project aimed at improving and refining aspects of their skill set.

Demonstrated academic excellence – consistent and strong academic credentials
Passion for engineering with Strong technical aptitude and an analytic approach to problem-Solving
Strong programming skills in C, C++, Java, Python, any scripting languages on Windows & Linux
Knowledge of databases – relational & non-relational
Good mathematical, analytical, and logical abilities and their application to effective problem solving
Generation of multiple alternative solutions towards problem-solving, evaluating the pros and cons, and justifying the best solution to be adapted
Strong root-causing, troubleshooting and debugging skills
In-depth understanding of desktop, web, and cloud based application development and deployment,
Awareness of Microservices architecture and tools
Hands-on experience with hypervisors, Virtual Machines, Containers, Dockers, and related tools

Expertise in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning frameworks & tools
Hands-on with equipment and tools such as secondary injection relay test kits, protocol analyzers, simulators, MATLAB, LabVIEW … etc

Clear & Concise verbal and written communication skills
Ability & rigor to clearly document and explain design, architecture, logic
Understanding Power System concepts is an added advantage

Desired :

Prior experience (via internships, projects, training, certifications .. etc) in relevant areas of power systems & programming
Understanding of industrial automation tools such as PLC programming
Volunteering experience on broader community activities/projects.
understanding of TCP/IP communication stack and related communication protocols
Understanding of Industrial & Substation automation protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870, IEC 61850 .. etc

Role and Responsibilities

Develop Proof of Concept (POC) for cloud software services
Write unit tests and validation automation tests for cloud software services
Develop reference cloud platform software
Improve or enable customer designs to obtain the best value from Intel products within the cloud

Mandatory skills for Cloud Software Engineering Intern at Intel:

Excellent written/verbal English communication and presentation skills
Strong software engineering skills
Enthusiasm for innovation and creative problem solving
Proficiency with one or more: Python, Golang, and Java scripts
Proficiency in Linux or Windows Operating system
Familiarities with cloud-native computing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Containers, Microservices, and Red Hat OpenShift

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarities with RestFul interfaces using flask or python
Knowledge of Jupyter Hub, Notebooks, Github, etc.

Working Model

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business needs. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
