Responsibilities for the Full Stack Engineer II Job Opening at Verizon:

Testing and coordinating all user interface changes.
Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
Ensuring the application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.
Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.

Requirements qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
Experience in Frontend/Web technologies; React JS, CSS, HTML
Experience in and backend services; Java Spring Boot, Node Js
Experience working in any RDBMS database.
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development.
Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
Experience in effective code review, quality, and performance tuning experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Experience with a high-performance, high-availability environment.
Strong analytical, and debugging skills. Good communication and presentation skills. Experience with OWASP rules and mitigating security vulnerabilities using security tools like Fortify Sonarcube, Blackduck etc.
Experience with Unit testing frameworks like JUnit, JEST.
Experience monitoring tools like NewRelic.
Ability to understand Agile and DevOps tools and technologies.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
